All Pro Dads

Yesterday Brayden and I went to Winter Park (yes, the training facility of the Vikings) to participate in an All Pro Dads workshop. It was pretty fun. Coaches Childress and Frasier talked to the group about the importance of fathers in their kids lives, then we went through different football drills. Brayden was pretty young for most of them, but he liked running around with the other kids. They also had beanbag and football toss games for him to play. It lasted about three hours, but it was very informative, and something you don't get to do everyday. There were a bunch of Viking players there too, but we didn't go out of our way to meet them. I was pretty excited to be able to meet Paul Allen though (he's the voice of the Vikings and has a radio show we listen to every day). We split up into about six different group and he and his son were in ours. His son wasn't too much older than Brayden, so I didn't feel totally out of place bringing him, most kids were ages six and up.
